Important Dates & Application

Late applications may not be accepted due to limited capacity.

Reminder: Camp dates and bus routes may change. Please verify all documentation again in June before camp begins.

Camp Overview

The OSD Summer Camp helps students maximize their potential through exciting projects and creative thinking.

  • Elementary Camp: Grades K – 6
  • RISE Camp: 
  • High School Camp: Grades 7 – 12
  • Cost: No cost for camp attendance
  • Students should bring spending money for food and activities at Urban Air, Wintersmith Park, and the Waterpark

Safety & Supervision

  • Professional staff focused on positive growth
  • 24-hour supervision, including daytime nursing and night on-call care
  • Complete medical information and an insurance card are required for registration
  • All medications must be turned in for controlled distribution
  • No staff available for constant one-on-one physical, emotional, or medical supervision

Student Expectations & Rules

General Rules

  • Be responsible and punctual
  • Be cooperative and safety-conscious
  • Respect others and property
  • Follow the dress code

Prohibited on Campus

  • Cigarettes, vaping, drugs, alcohol
  • Weapons or sexual activity
  • Leaving campus without supervision
  • Driving personal vehicles except for local day students

Unacceptable behavior will result in immediate parental pickup at the parent's expense.

What to Pack

  • Comfortable summer clothing. No short shorts or low-cut tops
  • Swim trunks and towels. Two-piece suits require outer covering
  • Pillow if desired. Bedding provided
  • Spending money. School is not responsible for lost money
  • A positive attitude and readiness to learn

Transportation & Logistics

  • Busing is provided from designated pickup locations. Routes posted online later
  • Local students may stay in dorms full-time only for accountability

  • Adult volunteers welcome
  • Complete Volunteer Form
  • Volunteers are responsible for the background checks and fingerprinting costs
  • Share camp information with other families of deaf or hard-of-hearing children
