Youth Leadership Murray County

Youth Leadership Murray County

"The purpose of this organization is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, inspire a commitment to service, promote leadership, and develop character in high school students."

About the Program

Youth Leadership Murray County provides high school students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, build lasting relationships, and gain a deeper understanding of the people, businesses, and organizations that make Murray County a strong community.

The program is part of Leadership Murray County, a nonprofit organization established in 2003 through an Oklahoma State University Community Development Grant. Each year, community members nominate students who demonstrate leadership potential, strong character, and a desire to make a positive impact. Selected students participate in a year-long leadership experience designed to prepare them for future success.
