Campus Audiology Services
Clinical and Educational Audiology Services are now available on campus
- Hearing Screening and Monitoring
- Diagnostic Hearing Evaluations (age 3 - 21, enrolled in school)
- Speech Perception Testing
- Hearing Aid Fitting and Maintenance (students enrolled at OSD and/or qualify for the CHAP)
- Cochlear Implant Service
- Assistive Listening Equipment
Receptive Language and Aural Rehabilitation Program
Traveling Audiology Services
Educational Audiology services are now available to Oklahoma Schools and students. The OSD audiologists are available to travel and provide audiology services statewide.
- Assistance with School Hearing Screening
- Basic hearing evaluations
- Assistive Listening Equipment Consultation (FM Systems, Remote Microphone, et.c)
- Functional Listening Evaluation to assess students listening needs in the classroom
- Faculty and Staff Training (Hearing and Communication, Hearing Aids/ Cochlear Implants, and Assistive Listening Equipment)
- Hearing Conservation Programs for Students
- IEP/ 504 Plan Participation (including hearing evaluation interpretation)
Our full-time educational audiologists provide all of our audiology services. Teresa Mazza, Au.D, CCC-A, COHC, completed her Bachelor of Social Work in 2002 from Washburn University and her Doctorate of Audiology from Wichita State University in 2012. Dr. Mazza has extensive experience providing diagnostic Audiology services to all ages. She began her Audiology career in 2012 at Landrum ENT in Ada, OK, and joined the Oklahoma School for the Deaf in August 2020.
